week five:

We've been having summer fun for just about a month and I hope that everyone is having a great time!! This week has been pretty low-key with half of our group away on vacation. We've had some pretty serious heat throughout the day too.

Tuesday we were able to make our own pizzas and they were delicious!
Today we went to the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and everybody was great! Our entire group made it to the top of 203 steps to have a breathtaking view!
Thursday we'll be staying on campus: and possibly doing some fun crafts!
Friday is National Chocolate Pudding Day and we'll be making our own chocolate pudding!!

Monday is Camera Day-if your child has a camera or you can pick up a disposable one I'd love for everyone to have one. We're going to document our day by taking pictures!! Thank you for all of your support-if you need anything let me know.

We had a great day exploring at the Coast Guard Station-especially checking out all of the boats! This was a great day for a trip and I wanted to be sure to remind you that it is the only one we'll be taking this week. I will reschedule a day for the Springs, but I will not be here Friday in order to keep the trip-thanks for understanding!

It's been a wonderful week and if you guys are attending Vacation Bible School I sure hope that you're having a great time!!

Now that summer is well underway I know that many of you will be vacationing and out of town-so if that's you remember that we'll miss you and can't wait for you to join us again! See you in the morning!

day 14:

Plaster Blaster was a blast. The kids loved picking their mold and making it their own by picking their favorite colors! We had a pretty good afternoon too: full of board games, kickball, and swinging. I hope that it cools down a bit but I know that probably won't happen. Remember to pack a water bottle for your child everyday!

Next week Glencoe is having VBS from 6:00-8:30PM Sunday-Thursday: it's for kids 3 years-old-5th Grade! The theme is "Boomerang Express". I hope that you guys have a great weekend and will see you Monday morning!!

Summer Rec-week 3:

This week has been busy! We had four more kids join us and it's been fun getting to know them. Another highlight of the week was our trip to the Jumpy Place on Wednesday-what an idea! Indoor bounce house fun!! I think that everybody enjoyed themselves!!

Miss Byrd filled in for me today and I hope that everyone had a great day! I'll be back tomorrow and we'll be heading to Plaster Blaster-don't forget your yellow shirts! If you or your kids have any ideas that we could do on campus as a group let me know!! It's been so hot this week-I am hoping for some rain.

*David & Bethany we miss you and are lifting your family up in our prayers. See you guys soon.

Friday Fun: Brevard Zoo!

Today was a great day for a trip to the zoo, although we had a few rain showers everything turned out great!! We fed the giraffes and lory's (parrots), rode the train, and then fed a deer! We even got to pet some animals! Snakes, goats, and alpacas!!

Enjoy the pictures-Emily and Ava we missed you and hope that you feel better!!!

See you guys Monday morning!!

day eight:

Hi guys! This week has been so much fun. Today we painted with balloons and darts! I hope that you'll find the perfect spot for your child's piece of "art". We're ending a great week with a trip to the Brevard Zoo and I pray that the weather stays nice for us!! See you in the morning!

it's fun to go to the YMCA!!

What a day!

Everyone was so excited about swimming and I probably heard "When are we going to the Y?" a million times. But when we got there, boy did it pay off!! Mr. A. J. helped all of us learn about water safety and then we got to splash the afternoon away!! I hope that everyone sleeps good tonight.

See you guys in the morning-remember to wear something that you don't mind getting paint splatter on!
